If you click the GCPad icon and select one of the two PS3 options, you should see a list of buttons that would be found on a Gamecube controller along with some clickable icons. For example, one player can use a keyboard while another can use a compatible gamepad.

The controllers can be assigned with a wide range of configurations.

We support up to 7 concurrent controllers at any given time, just like original PlayStation 3 hardware on both Windows and Linux.

Hmmm well i dont see any gamecube option just those two and a keyboard option im using the newest version well its say Dolphin 3.0-201-dirty whatever that means. Local-multiplayer is completely supported. You are supposed to select a gamecube button then press the corresponding button on your controller.

That’s good for any games requiring first-person aiming.(11-18-2011, 05:09 PM)Fennecat Wrote: (11-18-2011, 05:02 PM)TheodoreBears Wrote: Well the problem is it doesnt, is says in the corner its register and ready to use, but when i go to the GCPad icon and click the drop down menu it gives me two ps3 options on is DInput/0/PLAYSTATION®3 Controller and the other is SDL/0/PLAYSTATION®3 Controllerīut when i try to set up the inputs such as up and down i get no response, is there any way you or someone could give me a full detailed run down on how to set this up The joysticks also work well when mapped to the mouse, which brings back some analog control. Mapping a joystick to WASD or arrow keys turn it from an analog input to a digital one, which can be less responsive, but you can configure the dead zones and other settings by clicking on the “L Stick” button in the middle. If you press the buttons on your controller, it should light up the button in AntiMicro, so you won’t have to worry about figuring out which one “Button 14” is. You can click any of these to set a mapping to any keyboard key, or the mouse.

So long as your controller is connected, you’ll see this screen laying out all the sticks and buttons.

It also works on Linux as well.ĭownload the latest release from Github (or the portable version if you don’t want to install it) and open it up. There are a couple of good commercial options out there, most notably reWASD, but AntiMicro is free, open source, and does its job just as well.
Can you use ps3 controller on mac Bluetooth#
On macOS, you can usually find USB controllers in the “System Information” app, under “USB.” Bluetooth controllers should show up in the Bluetooth menu in the top menubar.
